1. What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text). When you build an invitation, we store the wedding details you enter (names, dates, venues, messages, event schedule) and any photos, videos, or music files you choose to upload. When a guest submits an RSVP or blessing on your invitation, we store the name and message they provide - guests do not need to create an account to do this.
2. How We Use It
We use this information solely to operate the service: to display your invitation to the people you share it with, to let you manage RSVPs and edit your invitation, and to keep your account secure (via a signed session cookie when you log in). We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with data brokers.
3. Who Can See Your Invitation
An invitation is visible to anyone who has its link - this is intentional, since the whole point is to share it with your guests. Please only share the link with people you actually want to invite. We don't index individual invitation pages in search engines, so they won't show up in a Google search, but we can't control if someone you shared the link with forwards it further.
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your account and invitation data is stored in a managed Postgres database. Uploaded photos, videos, and audio files are stored using Vercel Blob storage. Our application itself is hosted on Vercel. These providers may process data on servers located outside your country as part of normal cloud-hosting operations.
5. Cookies
We use a single, essential cookie to keep you logged in (a signed session token). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
6. Deleting Your Data
You can delete any invitation at any time from your dashboard - this permanently removes the invitation record along with every photo, video, and audio file you uploaded for it. If you'd like your entire account deleted, please email us at pankajbabbar35@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
7. Children's Privacy
InvitationVerse is intended for adults planning weddings and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever we do.
